Honestly this just sums it all up about the direction the liberals and progressives are taking this country.
This philosophy has never worked in the past and it is definately not working now.
Liberalism is evil as it destroys the will to improve oneself.
“One of the overriding points of Liberal Fascism is that all of the totalitarian “isms” of the left commit the fallacy of the category error. They all want the state to be something it cannot be. They passionately believe the government can love you, that the state can be your God or your church or your tribe or your parent or your village or all of these things at once. Conservatives occasionally make this mistake, libertarians never do, liberals almost always do.” — Jonah Goldberg
“In their zeal for particular kinds of decisions to be made, those with the vision of the anointed seldom consider the nature of the process by which decisions are made. Often what they propose amounts to third-party decision making by people who pay no cost for being wrong–surely one of the least promising ways of reaching decisions satisfactory to those who must live with the consequences.” — Thomas Sowell
“Everything is changing. People are taking their comedians seriously and the politicians as a joke.” — Will Rogers
So I said to him, “Barack, I know Abe Lincoln,
And you ain’t no Abe Lincoln.”
You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich.
You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong.
You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift.
You cannot lift the wage earner up by pulling the wage payer down.
You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred.
You cannot build character and courage by taking away people’s initiative and independence.
You cannot help people permanently by doing for them, what they could and should do for themselves.
- A. Lincoln
Obviously President Obama does not even know the real Abe Lincon.
My income has gone down dramatically but the democrats still think I am rich.
My home value has plummeted.
My health insurance has increased dramatically. (What a big lie that was)
My confidence in the future is at a lifetime low.
Confidence in the Government is even lower. (Did not think that possible)
Politicians failing to live up to promises are epidemic. Who can pull the biggest whopper?
The costs of many of the basic things I need are increasing rapidly.
My credit score is excellent but I can’t borrow any money.
Snookie has a better approval rating than the President.
The most people on food stamps ever.
The democrats want more of my money so they can give out more food stamps.
The size and complexity of government is now really mindboggling.
Barney Frank is still in Congress and not in jail.
Our public education system is failing horribly.
The Government is broke but we give aid to foreign countries who hate us.
The Fed can’t even run the post office well but we let them interfere in healthcare.
The administrations give 500 million dollar loans to companies who go broke a few months later (after paying off investors – who are also big Obama donors) – it stinks.
My bank now charges me to access my own money.
We have the most government employees in history but services provided are wasteful, lousy and condesending.
Government union employees are stealing us blind.
The Congress fails to pass a budget and uses voodoo accounting practices to lie to us.
We apparently have the most ignorant and brainwashed electorate possible because 43% (excuse me but WTF?) still give Obama a positive approval rating. And it is still somebody elses fault!
Minorities and the poor have faired 5 t0 10 time worst than I but they still support democrats (excuse me but WTF – you all are being used and abused)
Has this administration lived up to its promises?
Hell No.
Has this administration improved anything?
Hell No.
Perhaps you are better off (maybe you are a Federal employee) but I am not.
This administration is the most deceitful and inept in the last 100 years.
Our true choice is not between tax reduction, on the one hand, and the avoidance of large Federal deficits on the other. It is increasingly clear that no matter what party is in power, so long as our national security needs keep rising, an economy hampered by restrictive tax rates will never produce enough revenues to balance our budget just as it will never produce enough jobs or enough profits… In short, it is a paradoxical truth that tax rates are too high today and tax revenues are too low and the soundest way to raise the revenues in the long run is to cut the rates now.
President John F. Kennedy

“I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.”
Obama said we needed his stimulus plan to hold unemployment at 8% – Result – FAILED.
Obama promised to cut the deficit in half – Result – FAILED.
Obama said that passing ObamaCare would cause healthcare cost to go down – Result – FAILED.
Obama said we needed to pass a debt ceiling increase to keep our triple A credit rating – Result – FAILED.
Obama promised to end earmarks – he would not sign earmarked bills – Result – FAILED.
Obama promised transparency – all legislation would be posted for 5 days prior to signing – Result – FAILED.
What has Obama promised and delivered on? Hope, Change, Bipartisanship, Leadership, Honesty, Confidence, Education, World Standing, Fiscal Responsibility?
How Did We Really Get Here?
The worst financial crisis since the Great Depression that is.
Liberals and the democratic party do a much better job at propaganda than their conservative counterparts. They have the benefit of much of the liberal press on their side. Somehow they have been successful at creating the impression that the financial crisis is all the fault of the Bush administration. In fact nothing could be farther from the truth. Many conservatives and select intelligent moderates had voiced many concerns about the liberal policies that are the most direct cause of the housing bubble and following price collapse that brought us to the brink of financial collapse.
The Community Reinvestment Act
Passed under the Carter administration and then “enhanced” by amendments that the Clinton administration added the law forced, in effect, banks to make loans to people who lacked creditworthiness. Now this is typical liberal thinking. Deadbeats and crack heads need houses too so let’s have another great program to have the government guarantee loans. It will fix everything. Consequences – what consequences? Of course the unintended consequences seem obviously clear to anyone who can think ahead just even a little bit.
The Community Reinvestment Act allowed the creation of financial derivatives which in 2002 Warren Buffett called “time bombs” and “weapons of mass financial destruction”. Many others called for the review of Fannie and Freddie practices over the objection of Brain Dead Liberal Barney Frank who just weeks before the collapse said “These two entities – Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac – are not facing any kind of financial crisis.”
So the fact is it was another Brain Dead Liberal program that got us here (not that there were not plenty of other bad actors involved) and we the American voters hired the same tired old liberals to fix the mess because they masterfully convinced us it was “Bushes fault”. The liberal prescription – more, much more of the same – more wasteful, bloated government programs, more bailouts, more coruption and more payoffs. Many smart people will figure out ways to take advantage of this great largess at our expense. Why do we fall for this stuff over and over again? The liberal policies of FDR failed, the Johnson Great Society failed, and Carter = Failed. Some would say the Clinton administration had some success and I would agree but he was no liberal he was really a moderate Republican if you examine the policies he eventually backed and put into law (Welfare Reform, Free Trade, etc). The liberal wing hated him for it.
What has really happened to us in these miserable past few years very simply put is this:
Progressives and Liberals had this wonderful idea that everyone should have a home. That anyone should be able to get a home loan even if they are a dead beat. Of course no real credit provider would want these types of loans so let us have quasi-government agencies (FREDDIE and FANNIE) guarantee them with tax payer money. The congress people in charge of this wonderful idea took handouts (read bribes) to keep the scam going. We the voters (whose money they bet) believed the lies that this was all the fault of the Bush administration and re-elected the very progressive and liberal scammers that started this mess to begin with. They promissed to fix it.
Guess what they scammed us again. Shame on us – the American voter.
